Find BrianSnat's Can (Ammo Can)1 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Packanack: Picked up box this AM, what a great birding spot, I saw Warblers,Orioles, Red winged Blackbirds, Great Blue Heron, Red Headed Woodpecker, Gold Finches, Flycatchers, and a really rare sighting that I will not reveal on this page. and I almost reversed my decision to pick up this cache, but I had decided to retrieve and archive--This was the cache that started the BrianSnat Ammo Can Series and had served its purpose well. Also , the box had taken on a little water from the recent floods-- not too much, but enough to dampen the contents a little. I like this area, so another cache will be placed shortly.

Geocache Description:

In order to claim the first to find you must follow the instructions. The cache is located at the location, so there should be no problem there. But there is a method to the madness.

This cache container was given by BrianSnat to a cacher who placed a cache on Goose Island in Pompton Lakes, he gave it to them because it was more substantial. Well after a period of time this to was damaged, it lay there wet and damaged for some time. They did not come back for it, so I placed a cache there in replacement. I finally went and retrieved it, BrianSnat told me that if I could salvage the can to use it for another cache. He did not need it back -hmmm? . Well it cleaned up pretty good and it has now found a new home. The idea is that the can is removed by the FTF and he or she then hides the can, leaving behind a cache container. We then have more caches to find and people get to help out by hiding a cache.
Some of you may have been nearby before, so bring your binocs.
