Going Underground (not anymore) #3 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

The Long Man Trackers: It doesn't look like the photo booth will be back, so reluctantly I'm archiving this cheeky hide and freeing up the area for others.

Thanks to Currykev and all who made this one possible.

Geocache Description:

**This cache is located within an area frequently patrolled by Police. Please avoid acting suspiciously whilst searching for it, and if challenged, explain about geocaching**

This cache is a magnetised silver breath strip container, coords are within 40 feet due to the buildings.

This is one in a short series of caches that are to be found at or near entrances to disused London transportation sites.

This cache is at the former Aldwych station, it was originally opened in 1907 as Strand Station but was renamed after confusion over the name as the nearby Charing Cross station shared the name! .

The station was closed for 6 years during WW2 and was used to house treasures from the British Museum. The station was finally closed in 1994 when the cost of the much needed refurbishment was deemed too high.
