World Cup 2006 England Traditional Geocache
Lactodorum: Hi, this looks suspiciously like the cache has gone. Could the owner please undertake a maintenance visit to check if it's there or not. In the meantime I'm archiving it but I'll happily consider unarchiving it if/when it's found assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Easy cache in Wollaton Park, Nottingham. Terrain is mainly flat and easy on paths.
The theme of this cache is football focusing on the 2006 World Cup starting in June. We would appreciate it if you could maintain the football theme.
This is a popular park close to Nottingham University and The Queen's Medical Centre off the A52 / Nottingham Ring Road.
Car parking in the park will cost you £2 all day, but you could easily spend a several hours here. You may consider parking outside the park - there is a pub close by. There are toilets and refreshments available.
There is a children's play ground, loads of open grassland for games, etc. A walk around the lake is very pleasant. There are also deer in the park.
Wollaton Hall is usually open to the public (we think charges apply at weekends?) but currently (May 06) there is some work being undertaken.
The cache is a 2.6L sandwich box. Please be aware of the many muggles enjoying this pleasant and popular park.
