As if you needed one, here’s another excuse to roam the trail systems of Rockwood Park.
The cache is located in Rockwood Park, Saint John. This is one way to get to it (via the trail system) :
Make your way to the Sandy Point Road. Head towards the Regional Hospital. Go past the Joshua Group property on your right. Continue up the hill and then turn right onto the Dark Lake Rd. Follow the road to the concrete blocks and park. Walk through the blocks and hit the Mayflower Lake trail. Stay on this trail until you see the Splenda trail on your right. Take the Splenda trail. Stay on this trail for a few minutes until you reach the Sweetness trail. Turn right onto the Sweetness trail. Follow this trail to the cache. If you miss the turn onto the Splenda trail ... no problem. The Mayflower trail will intersect the Sweetness trail. Cache is a large plastic container wrapped with camo duck tape. GPS WAAS accuracy was 6m when the cache was stashed. Enjoy your hike and good luck finding the cache!
