Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series that I have made called "Tofino Beaches". Over time, I'm going to try and place a cache near the start of the trail for as many beaches as I can in the Tofino area. All of them will most likely be micro caches, and all VERY hard to find, however, this one is the easiest (I think).

This cache was removed (accidentallty) by people doing some work in the area. I have re-hid a temporary cache in its place. The new container is a silver bison tube hanging on a hook.
This cache is located at the start of the trail to Tonquin Beach and contains only a log book, so bring your own pencil. Signal can be a bit weak in the area so I will tell you that the cache is on the same side of the road, and within 5 feet of the start of the trail.
Tonquin Beach was formed in 1811, destroyed by fire in 1871, and made into a park in 1971.
As always, please beware of muggles at all times, and re-hide caches exactly as found.
This trail also leads to the cache The MIDst of sand by Keiko's Buddies and Tonquin Hill by Tritec
