Geocache Description:

FRANCAIS
Au sud des landes CAPBRETON, station balnéaire avec des immenses plages, son port de pêche,
ainsi que son port de plaisance. Lieu très touristique en été. Cadre idéal pour visiter et faire une
balade au tour du port de plaisance pour trouver la cache (A pied 2h)
1) Sur la photo il y a un clocheton de l’ancien préventorium de Ste Eugénie
noter l’année qui se trouve sur le clocheton. Date = AAAA
2) Idem sur la photo au bout de la plage il y a une digue en bois datant de
Napoléon 3, relever la date sur le petit phare vert Date = BBBB
3) Quel roi de Navarre est venu plusieurs fois a Capbreton. Pour info, on conserve à la mairie
(ouvert de 8/12 -14/16h30) une de ses lettres manuscrite, ou prendre le
renseignement sur Internet. Noter le N° du Roi en question. = C

ENGLICH SEASIDE RESORT OF CAPBRETON
On the southern coast of the Landes, CAPBRETON is a seaside resort with immense beaches, a fishing
port and a marina. It attracts many tourists in the
summer. It’s an ideal town to visit and to walk around the marina to find the cache (2 hours on foot)
1) On the photograph you can see the bell turret of the old Sainte-Eugenie health center; record the year
on the bell turret. Date = AAAA
2) Same for the photograph at the end of the beach; there is a wooden breakwater dating back to Napoleon III;
record the date on the small green lighthouse. Date = BBBB
3) Which king of Navarre came to Capbreton on several occasions? One of his handwritten letters is kept
at the city hall. Write the number of that king = C
