An isolated peaceful small settlement in the forest.
The area is quite isolated in the embrace of the forest, extremely peaceful place. That’s why many yogis live here; they can meditate in these quiet surroundings.
Many marked trails cross the area, so the hiker traffic is big. Orfü, Bános, Kölyuk, Magyarszék, Mánfa are not too far.
Near the houses you can find a place with great view for Komló city, Hármashegy and Zengö.
Vágotpuszta
Vágotpuszta is the highest settlement in Baranya County (403m). Around 1790 a country inn had been established here by the road. Later on some Hungarian and German family settled down around the inn.
By this time the original residents moved away and the natural way of life lover yogis bought the houses.
In the middle of the settlement you can find a well with good water and a bell-tower.
