Rybník Svet byl založen Jakubem Krcinem z Jelcan, dokoncen roku 1574, puvodní název „Nevdek“. Puvodní plocha Sveta 380 ha. Po povodni roku 1611 rozdelen na rybníky Opatovický a Svet. Nynejší rybník Svet je svojí rozlohou 215 ha 7 nejvetší rybník v Cechách. Okolo rybníka vede zajímavá naucná stezka, kterou lze projet na kole i s detmi.
We invite you for trip around the world. The World is name of big pond near by the beautiful south bohemian town Trebon. Pond was founded at 1574 by Jakub Krcin with original name "Ingratitude" had area about 380 ha and at 1611, after floods, was divided to two ponds "Opatovicky" and "World". Today pond "World" is 7th biggest bohemian pond and has area about 215 ha.
Around the pond „World“ leads a path with information tables, which is also possible come through by bike.
