Cache je ukryta v blizkosti zriceniny hradu Egerberk na kopci nad obci Lestkov na pravem brehu reky Ohre.
Hrad Egerberk byl zalozen na prelomu 13. a 14. stoleti. Jmeno hradu pochazi z nemeckeho nazvu reky Ohre (Eger). Nejstarsi podoba hradu neni znama. Zachovane casti hradu pochazeji az z doby jeho velke prestavby na konci 14. stoleti podle vzoru nekterych hradu z doby kralu Karla IV. a Vaclava IV., zejmena Jenstejna, Kasperka a Radyne.
V prvni polovine 17. stoleti byl hrad Egerberk opusten a postupne chatral a stal se zriceninou. Dnes jsou nejhure zachovany hospodarske budovy na jiznim okraji hradniho prostoru a jeho vnejsi ohrazeni.
Naopak dobre patrne jsou hradni valy a prikopy. Nejlepe zachovanou casti je hlavni, vnitrni cast hradu s hradnim palacem, s nadvorim a jeho zapadnim obloukovitym zakoncenim. Za pozornost stoji krasne goticke okno v dobre zachovane zapadni zdi vnitrniho hradu.
Pristup k Egerberku je mozny bud po cervene turisticke znacce z Klasterce nad Ohri (2,5 km) nebo z opacne strany ze vsi Lestkov (take po cervene znacce, cca 0,5 km).
Cache, prosim, opet dobre ukryjte a zamaskujte! Pokud v okoli cache najdete nejaky neporadek a budete mit moznost jej odnest, ucinte tak. Diky!
Cache is hidden close to the ruins of the castle Egerberk. The ruins are situated on the top of the hill above the Lestkov village on the right bank of the river Ohre.
The castle Egerberk was established at the turn of the 13th and 14th century. Castle’s name is derived from German name of the river Ohre (Eger). The oldest shape of castle Egerberk is unknown. The ruins of the castle come from the end of the 14th when castle was reshaped.
In the first half of the 17th century the castle Egerberk was abandoned and it started to fall into disrepair.
There are two possibilities how to reach Egerberk. You can start your walk in Klasterec nad Ohri and follow the red tourist mark (distance 2,5 km) or you can start in Lestkov and follow the red tourist mark (approx. 0,5 km).
