How does this work?
Caches are placed to hold postcards. Every
postcard will have a small message and an address on it. The
address will contain the person’s name that you are trying to send
the card to, a city and most likely a cache. The objective is to
move postcards between Geo-Post Offices until they reach their
desired location. When you move a postcard or message from one
place to another, please let the person who it’s being sent to know
where you moved it to because they might be close enough to pick it
up. If you move a postcard from one Geo-Post Office to another
please move it closer to the city or cache!
A CASTLE IN THE MIDWEST?
Originally built by the Knights of Pythias
as an Orphanage in 1913.
The property was sold to the United States
Government in 1942 during World War II as only a few people were
residing there, and they were placed in private
institutions.
It
became a part of O'Reilly General Hospital and remained as such
until the Hospital was deactivated.
It was used for a number of years by the
Army Reserve.
It is now in private ownership.
Check out the website for more info www.pythiancastle.com
The building is a large and
imposing,castle-like structure constructed of cut limestone
blocks.
