Joint Effort Traditional Geocache
NevadaWolf: After too many DNFs we came out to check. Found the stick, no container. So this one has run its course.
Thank you all for looking for our Joint Effort these last 12 (!) years.

An easy, drive up (not drive-by) cache - though the find
might take awhile.
Okay - it was time for me to hide another cache and with the help
of my dad, Trekrr, here it is.
The location is easily reached by car or truck. A lot of people use
it as an access road, so be sure to play nice and park off the road
when looking. It is a well-maintained dirt road just off of the
north end of Valley Road in the Stephanie Lane area. This is a
great spot for a quick cache, or to begin an off-road adventure, or
to pick up the caches on Hot Springs Mountain. Make a day of
it!
The cache, however, is a touch more difficult. From the caches I've
done, I've not seen one like this. Hopefully it's unique enough to
provide a challenge. If not, I'll keep working on it. You're
looking for a bright yellow energy drink mix container - though you
won't be able to see the cache without really looking. Please
replace the camo exactly as you find it.
Congratulations to iQueMan for the FTF and the $5.00 prize.
Got this note from geolinux, who had the hardest time of finding
this as the packrat wasn't able to move it out into the open:
Subject: I hate you!!! you are EVIL
Ok.. maybe that subject is a bit harsh...
I've actually held [it] in my hand before. -snip- I disturbed it
again today, and when I went around to the -snip-, I caught a flash
of yellow, since I hadn't put it back exactly as it was.
Nice job... that's a downright wicked hide... right there in plain
sight yet unseen. good job
Because of this and other cachers having a more difficult time,
I've increased the difficulty to 3.5. Comments on the accuracy of
this are welcome.
Hope you all enjoy.
3-14-10 Since the entire stump and packrat nest, as well as a good
portion of the sagebrush in this area is now gone, I've adjusted
the hint.
