Bathing in Hévíz
Hévíz is a well-known tourist and spa center of Hungary. The Lake of Hévíz is the biggest lake of the world which has got warm water and peat at the bottom. The water comes from a fount settled 38 metres under the surface. Its average temperature is 33-35 °C in the summer, but it does not go below 23 °C in the winter, so you can have a bath any time of the year in the fresh air. The water is good for rheumatism, muscles and illnesses of the nervous system.
