The second in my series of great views over the New Forest. As usual placed using the guidelines agreed with the Forestry Commision. There is no need to leave the paths until the final few metres of this cache.
This has the same starting point as number one but goes in the opposite direction. Why not do one then have the brew aspect before going on to number two. The brew is at the Acres Down Farm which in season does camping and cream teas. Plenty of local hostelries or tea shops if you go back to Lyndhurst.
It's in the forest so appropriate footwear needed. Though most of this is on gravelled footpaths.
Proceed to the given co-ordinates where you will locate a suitable place to rest while working out the location of the final cache.
From the left hand plaque you need the following numbers:
1'F' th PMO Gurka Rifles 194'E'
From the middle plaque:
1949 19'AB' 1'CBD'
Then insert them into this co-ordinate
N 50.AB.EFA W 1.BD.CDD
You're hunting for a 2.4 litre tupperware container.
