Geocache Description:

Maximum Bogosity! Thats what this cache is all about. The goal of this multi-cache is that when you are done, you will say "THAT'S SO BOGUS!" This is our second hide.

------------------------ UPDATE 10/23/08 HUNTING: Hemlock Hills and Pine Mountain Open Spaces are closed to the public for firearms hunting from Nov 19 through Dec 23, 2008, except during the Thanksgiving weekend. The town will probably hold such a hunting season again in 2009. . Bow hunting is permitted in adjoining Bennett's Pond State Park from Sept 15, 2008, through Jan 31, 2009. During this time the park is not closed to the public, but hikers are advised to wear bright colors.

This takes you through the Hemlock Hills Open Space in Ridgefield.

For Maximum Bogosity, you should park at the trail head at Bogus Road located at N41 21.167 W73 30.572. Alternate parking is at Lake Windwing with a very approximate location of N41 20.501 W73 30.612. Alternate-alternate parking is available off Pine Mt. Road at N41 21.166 W73 30.090. Still, go for Bogus Road.

The cache coordinates are for the first stage. The common theme here is the micros are all located in bogus objects. Each stage contains the coordinates of the next either fully or to complete the required info.

Stage 1: Bogus Pine Cone
Stage 2: Bogus Egg - Located at N41DegNN.NNN W73DegWW.WWW
Stage 3: Bogus Brick
Stage 4: (Cache) Bogus Base

You can find the values for NN.NNN and WW.WWW inside of Stage 1.

All stages and the cache are close to the trails - minimal bushwhacking is needed. Just follow the trails!

Stages 1 and 2 are micros. Stage 3 a small container. Stage 4 is a 50cal ammo can. It is well stocked with lots of goodies. Please use the camera to take a pic of yourself / group and place it back in the cache.

And please let me know if you really do call out - "THAT'S SO BOGUS!"

Happy Caching!
