Dansk: Brundlund Slot
Brundlund Slot er bygget som et fæstningsværk i begyndelsen af
1500-tallet. Slottets tidlige historie går tilbage til Dronning
Margrethe den 1., der erhvervede Aabenraa By i 1411. Slottet har
været sæde for kongelig, hertugelig og statslig administration. I
flere hundrede år har slottet fungeret som tjenestebolig for
skiftende amtmænd.
Åbningstider
Alle dage 11-17 (undtagen mandag). Der er gratis adgang til
slotsparken.
Husk at stationerne (undtagen station
1) og cachen kan kun besøges inden åbningstiderne.
Det koster entré nu at besøge slottet selv.
Alle svar til stationerne inde på slottet findes derfor i hintet.
Stationerne udenfor slottet skal dog besøges for at finde svar.
Parkering
Parkering på startkoordinaterne anbefales. Der er plads til 4-5
personenbiler. Flere parkeringspladser findes på gaden foran
møllen.

In nærheden af parkeringspladsen findes slotsmøllen. I året ABBC
blev byggningen præmieret som smuk restaurering.

Deutsch: Schloss Brundlund
Schloss Brundlund wurde als Festungsanlage Anfang des 16.
Jahrhunderts erbaut, aber seine Frühgeschichte geht auf Königin
Margrethe die 1. zurück, die im Jahre 1411 die Stadt Apenrade
erworben hat. Das Schloss war Sitz königlicher, herzoglicher und
staatlicher Verwaltung. Mehrere hundert Jahre diente das Schloss
als Amtssitz wechselnder Regierungsbeamter.
Öffnungszeiten
Täglich (außer montags) 11:00h - 17:00h. Der Eintritt in den
Schlosspark ist frei.
Beachte, dass die Stationen
2-6 und der Cache nur während der Öffnungszeiten zugänglich sind!
Es kostet nun Eintritt, wenn man das Schloss
selbst besichtigen will. Deshalb sind alle Antworten, die sich auf
Stationen innerhalb des Schlosses beziehen, ab sofort im Hint
enthalten. Die Stationen außerhalb des Schlosses müssen nach wie
vor aufgesucht werden.
Parken
Wir empfehlen den Parkplatz bei den Startkoordinaten. 4 - 5 PKW
finden hier Platz. Weitere Parkplätze gibt es an der Straße, von
der du zum Schloss Brundlund eingebogen bist.

Schlossmühle
In der Nähe des Parkplatzes befindet sich die Schlossmühle. Sie
wurde im Jahr ABBC als "smuk restaurering" (schön restauriertes
Gebäude) prämiert.

English: Brundlund Castle
Brundlund Castle was built as a fortress at the beginning of the
16th century, but its early history dates from the reign of Queen
Margrete the First, who acquired the city of Aabenraa in 1411. The
castle used to be the seat of royal, ducal, and governmental
administrations. For several hundred years the castle was the
official residence of successive prefects.
Opening hours
All days from 11 am to 5 pm (except on Mondays). The entrance to
the park is free.
Notice that stages 2-6 and the
cache itself are only accessible during opening hours!
There is an entrance fee now to visit the
castle itself. All answers to questions related to inside stages
are included now in the hint. Stations outside of the castle need
still to be visited in order to find the details.
Parking
We recommend parking at the start coordinates. There is space for 4
- 5 cars. Additional parkinglots can be found on the street across
of the watermill.

The watermill is placed close to the start coordinates. In the year
ABBC it was awarded as "smuk restaurering" (beautifully restored
building).

In the firing cellar a model of the castle is exhibited, which
shows the castle in the year EFGG.

The jail is placed in the gate building. You're welcome to visit
it. The door to the gate building needs to be opened by the staff.
