Geocache Description:

This is the fifth in the series of caches identifying great spots to get away from it all.

This hidden hideaway is located in an area of the Blue Mountains that can be visited both by 4WD and on foot (6 of them actually) with the Rats having got here by both means. The area around GZ is well sign posted for anyone wishing to visit and on any particular day you're likely to see a number of bushwalkers passing through this location. Take the time while your here to head upstream some 600m and have a look at the suspension bridge. If your brave enough walk the walk.

If you choose to walk here allow a min' of 4 hrs return from the nearest road and be sure to take adequate water with you as GZ presently doesn't have any flowing water.
If you drive here a 4WD is a must, soft or low clearance 4WD's have been seen here but be very careful if there has been recent rain. From the bitumen allow a min' of 2 hrs return trip.

The cache is located in a dry part of the river bed, just below the steep side hills. The container is well hidden under a small boulder and between two larger boulders. There is alot of natural wood litter covering the rocks. The cache contains all the usual Rat’s goodies, including a logbook and pen. Please be sure to rehide the cache as you found it.
