Pomník generála Vandamma

Dominik René Vandamm byl velitelem francouzských jednotek císare Napoleona v bitve u Chlumce a Prestanova r.1813. Pomník stojí na míste, kde byl 30.8.1813 necekane stržen z kone a zajat ruskými kozáky. Generál byl nejprve odveden do chlumeckého parku, odtud poslán eskortou do Prahy a pozdeji do Ruska.

Roku 1814 byl propušten ze zajetí. Po návratu císare Napoleona z ostrova Elby, se k nemu opet pripojil. Po porážce u Waterloo byl r.1815 vypovezen z Francie. Novým Vandammovým útocištem se stala severní Amerika. V roce 1824 se na základe milosti mohl vrátit do Francie, kde r. ABCD zemrel.

General Vandamm memorial

Dominique René Vandamm was a commander of french Napoleons units in the Chlumec battle in 1830. The memorial stands on a place where he was at 30th of August 1813 unexpectedly taken down from his horse and captured by Russian Cossacks. Firstly, he was taken to Chlumec, then escorted to Prague and lastly, from Prague to Russia.

In 1814, he was relased from captivy. After Napoleon returning from Elba island, he joined his army again. After they were defeated in the battle near Waterloo, he was expelled from France. Then, he moved to North America. Ten years after, he was given a grace, so he moved back to France. He died in ABCD.

It's easy one-stage multi-cache. The hunt shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

Your task is to find out the year when Vandamm died. You can search this date on the internet, or from the board next to the monument. It's a little bit tricky, when you don't speak Czech at all, isn't it? . Don't worry, it's the very last year on the bottom of the board. You'll get ABCD, which you need to substitute to the following equation.
