Geocache Description:

Easy drive up; close parking; wheelchair accessible.

The cache is located in Reed-Mashore Downtown Park in Casa Grande. This is a small and quiet park, the most significant feature of which is a monument to Casa Grade area soldiers killed in the Vietnam war. You probably parked right in front of it. The monument was originally across the street at the library and was gifted to the City by Dana Braker. Four of the listed soldiers were in Dana Braker's class. The name "O.L.M. 18" on the marker means "Open Linear Movement", a series of works done by artist Steve Rand. This work is said to change size, shape, and color as you move around it! The cache is actually in another area of the park to meet spacing requirements for caches, so be sure to visit the monument as well. The cache is big enough to hold some small items; bring your own pencil. Good luck, enjoy the park, and as always ...... HAVE FUN!

IMPORTANT NOTE! Pleae OBSERVE CAREFULLY the way this cache is put together BEFORE you tear into it. It needs to go back EXACTLY the same way!!
