Assurnasirpal Takes a Swim
Carved orthostats from the walls of the palace of Assurnasirpal II (883-859 B.C.) at Nimrud shows Assurnasirpal's army attacking by water. Horses swim with the fish, dismantled chariots are floated on barges and personnel swim with the aid of inflated animal hides.
Unfortunately, one of Assurnasirpal's soldiers dropped a very important container as they left the shore. Can you find the cache they left behind?
(Tragically, in 2015, this site at Nimrud (and others like it in the region) have been systematically destroyed by ISIS.)
