Schanze Köhnholz:
Aus fünf Teilstücken bestehende Wallanlage; Gesamtlänge etwa 430 m, Höhe heute noch 2.5 - 3 m. Die Hauptsächlich in Ost-West-Richtung verlaufende Befestigung sollte wohl den Zugang in Richtung Elmshorn erschweren. Der Überlieferung nach wurde sie im Jahre 1627 von Christian IV angelegt. Näheres ist nicht bekannt. Etwa 600 m nördlich von hier, soll sich eine weitere, in Ost-West-Richtung verlaufende Schanze befunden haben. Im heute bebauten Gelände ist von ihr jedoch nichts mehr zu erkennen.

Entrenchment of Köhnholz:
This exhibit was build as a five side entrenchment with a lenght of about 430 meters and a height of 2.5 to 3 meters. The main orientation is geared from east to west, to complicate and restrict the entrance to Elmshorn. Christian IV build this fortification, according the historical tradition, this fortification is dated to 1627. Today, there are no more informations and details noted. In about 600 meters northwards, there was been another east to west entrenchment, but this one was completly lost in the past.
