Geocache Description:

Come celebrate the 6th anniversary of geocaching in Canada.

There will be a Kids only cache, demo caches, poker run type competition, a night cache, 50/50 draw, tickets for a genuine Eastriver hiking stick, coin show and trade, hamburgers, hot dogs & drinks at very cheap price and a chance to shake the hand of the made who hid the stash we are honoring. Oh yeah, and the unveiling of a marker honoring GCBBA, the first cache in Canada.

The events will be held at Graves Island Provincial Park

If cachers from outside the area need help finding accomodations please drop a note or visit the South Shore Tourist Association at www.ssta.com or 902-634-8840.

We will be using channel 2 on FRS/GMRS radio on the day of the event. We will also be monitoring the local Ham repeater for any hams who need directions toa the Event. Here are the details: Will monitor VE1LUN, Chester repeater 147.330 Mhz as a "talk-in" repeater. Call VE1AM
