Why not make this part of a canoe trip?
If you’re doing Minnehaha on a canoe, this is a perfect landing for a picnic—with drinking water and restrooms—or make the 5 block walk to 50th and France Area where you can spend as much time or money as you please on lunch. Utley Park is located across the street from Wooddale Park on the beautiful Minnehaha Creek. This six-acre park has a wonderful gazebo with picnic benches. This park also includes two tennis courts and a new full-sized basketball court. Utley Park has lots of shady areas perfect for a picnic or a nap in the grass.
