Sewer Pipe Sailors Cache is reached by traveling east along Route 66 from Albuquerque and turning off into the Monticello Subdivision. You will end up parking at an Open Space parking area (Three Guns Springs Trail Head)that requires no fee. Enjoy the nice hike on a gradual incline of approximately 700 feet to an altitude of 7050 feet.
The cache is fabricated from a 4 inch sewer pipe access plug which has been camoflogued.
The cache contains Car Racing Game, 2 Rubber Wrist Bands, Retractable ID holder, 1 old vacuum tube, American Flag pin, Heart Pin, Several European Coins, Log Book and a (USS Skate Travel Bug). The Skate travel bug is looking for a route to the New London/Groton Connecticut area (his home port and back to the Albuquerque New Mexico area for retrieval)
