Geocache Description:

Locate three satellites. Each of the satellites is represented by a numbered micro-cache (magnetized ... hint, hint). Each satellite provides you its distance to the main cache. The satellites do not provide bearings. Below are the coordinates for each of the satellites in Lat/Lon hdddºmm.mmm' (WGS 84)

Satellites
(July 15, 2006) These are the original micro-cache satellites. They are made of magnets and can bend easy so hopefully will serve us well but are not made of ideal materials for long-term use. They will remain posted until they are lost or stolen.
N 38° 58.867' W 077° 18.753'
N 38° 56.643' W 077° 15.397'
N 38° 57.589' W 077° 22.251'

Need Help? … In keeping with the difficulty level of this cache, the hints are encrypted using a unique code. If you must cheat (strongly recommended), you will have to manually decrypt the following text to derive the code for decrypting the hints. The hints are helpful instructions for finding the satellites in the event that you are unable to find them. They are not vague hints. Therefore, decrypt these hints only if you want to know the exact locations where the satellites are hidden.

The coordinates provided at the top of this page are the location of satellite number one.

While you may be able to locate the cache using only two satellites, I have provided three in case one goes missing. If you are unable to locate any of these, please post a log (note or DNF, whatever you choose) and I will verify the status of the satellites and replace them if necessary.

When you log this cache, please state which satellites you were able (or unable) to find. This will help me provide adequate cache maintenance.

This cache may look familiar to some, but new to others. It was done with the complete permission of the creator of the original cache. Thanks DisQuoi!
