I use to race bicycles when I was younger, and met other local racers a few yards away from here for the Noon Ride. It is one of the best training rides in the Bay Area. The Noon Ride leaves Palo Alto for a nice loop through Portola Valley and Woodside before returning here. I placed a camouflaged micro here along this quite rural roadside. If you are here exactly at noon M-F you will see the bicyclists ride by, however this is a popular rest area during the lunch hour.
