Uvedené souradnice nejsou souradnicemi keše, ale souradnice
ostrova.
Silveruv poklad puvodne ukryl Jim Hawkins na jednom ze zdejších
ostrovu. Pozdeji jej však vyzvednul a prevezl na pevninu. Pri
zpátecní plavbe lod ztroskotala. Zachránen byl lodní deník a
vizuální zpráva.

Z ostrova, jehož polohu uvádejí uvedené souradnice, jsme upluli
vzdálenost 1,016 cbl kurzem 28,23 rumbu. Po obratu u severneji
položeného ostrova jsme pluli 14 min. a 20 sec. rychlostí jednoho
uzlu kurzem NEbN + 2,55°. Po vylodení jsme nalezli malou, opuštenou
pevnost. Od vchodu do pevnosti jsme vyrazili azimutem jen o 0,4°
menším, než byl náš první kurz. Urazili jsme 0,0896 míle. Skrýš je
vzdálena pouhých 102 yardu od dverí zámecku.

Jim Hawkins hid Silver´s treasure originally on one of the local
islands. He hoisted the treasure later and he transported it to the
land. A ship went to wreck on a way back. The only things which
were saved are a logbook and visual message.
From the logbook :
We sailed from the island, which position coordinates indicate, a
distance 1,016 cbl with bearing 28,23 points. After turn near
island, which is more to the nord, we sailed 14 minutes 20 seconds
by speed one knot under bearing NEbN + 2,55°. We found small
abandonned fortress. From the entrance of the fortress we went
under bearing only for 0,4 smaller, than our first bearing. A
hiding place is 0,0896 mile away. The hiding place is only 102
yards away from a door of a small kastle.
