Geocache Description:

Somewhat hilly with 2 very small feeder streams to cross. These are not groomed trails but more woods paths.

Welcome to Beaver Brook Pond State Park located in North Windham,CT. The higher trial is the easier route with a path about half way. The rest of it is thru open woods to cache. Do not use the trail along the pond, its to brushy with briars. It is about a 15 minute hike in. Small boat, canoe, and kayak launch, and fishing permitted on pond. No fee's for use of area or parking. Park closes at sunset. There are plenty of deer and turkey to see in this area. Beaver Brook State Park Scenic Reserve is a 20 acre pond stocked with trout. There is also a handicapped spot to fish from for those needing this. Cache is a medium sized Lock n Lock container with typical cache items.
Plenty of parking available right at the dam.
