I was out looking for a trail I had hiked some years ago. I found it very overgrown and, eventually, I had to give up the idea of going any further on it. I took a short cut on my way back to the Monte Bello parking lot. Well, the day wasn't a complete loss as, somewhere in my wanderings, I managed to hide a cache.
You will encounter some steep terrain and though there are numerous deer trails, they may or may not be of much help. As usual, please don't spoil the challenge for others by giving away too much information in your logs.
The cache has five $2 bills for the first five parties to find the cache. It also has a pen and a couple of small trade items. Be sure to tightly wedge the cache so it won't slide away.
