Great secluded Park. Best access is from Carlin Springs road, just under the hospital to nature center.
Depending on weather -- this is not something to attempt in Office Attire.
Location near the best kept secret in Arlington -- this cache is in an ammo box and contains a travel coin (headed to anywhere). The park is very user friendly and has all kinds of great trails, including a phenomenonal off-leash dog park at the bottom of the trail.
Easiest and shortest route is to take Carlin Springs south from Rte 50 and after hospital take a left into Long Branch Nature Center (sign is small). For those more inclined to walk and enjoy the park, birds, and maybe stretch your legs you can take 4th St. South (from Carlin Springs) to the dog off-leash area for a great .5 mile walk (each way).
While the park is fairly active, the cache is in a bit of an out of the way area. It is easy to pretend that you're a bird watcher or packing some trash out.
Many good parking areas in the neighborhoods around S 7th St, if you don't mind wandering on a few trails -- this is actually the most enjoyable route/walk/bike.
