Hier ligt de kans om hartje Maastricht anders te verkennen.
Deze cache rondom verrassende gevelstenen loopt door het hartje van de city vol bruisende winkelstraten en stillere hoekjes.
Wellicht gaat de ene helft van je groepje cachen met de creditcard en de andere helft deze boeiende cache scoren met de GPS.
De route is ong. 2 kilometer en kost ongeveer 1,5 uur. De GPS is alleen nodig voor beginpunt en eindlocatie. (In de smalle winkelstraten is satellietbereik te slecht!)

This cache along surprising facade plaques takes you through the heart of the city full of busy shopping and quiet corners.
Perhaps, the one half of your group will start caching with the credit card and the other half fulfills this fascinating cache with the GPS.
The route is approximately 2 km and takes about 1.5 hours.
The GPS is only needed for the start- and end-location. (In the narrow shopping streets the satellite coverage is too bad!)
Opdracht: Bezoek de spots op de stadsplattegrond die je als routekaart ook in de spoilerbijlagen op deze site vindt. Hierbij het voorbeeld:
Zoek en vind de 11 gevelstenen van de foto's terug op deze spots.
Alleen gevelstenen met een bijbehorend jaartal tellen mee voor het eindcoördinaat. Om het eindcoordinaat van de cache te vinden gebruik je een cijfer uit een jaartal van zo'n gevelsteen. Als op de foto een 2 staat gebruik je het 2e cijfer uit het jaartal.
Als voorbeeld geldt het startcoördinaat, waarbij je de gevelsteen K van café “In den Ouden Vogelstruys” vindt. Bij deze gevelsteen hoort het jaartal 1730. Omdat er een 4 bij staat, wordt de waarde van gevelsteen “K” het vierde cijfer uit “1730”, de “0” dus.
Zo “speur” je het eindcoördinaat van de microcache bij elkaar. De foto's en letters van de gevelstenen staan in willekeurige volgorde.
Je kunt zelf je speurtochtroute, al dan niet met winkel- en kroegpauzes, door de binnenstad bepalen!
Terug naar het oorspronkelijke eindcoordinaat met microcache: N 50°50.(B+H)JF - E005°4(E-H).(A-F)(I-H)(F+J)

To calculate the final coordinate of the stash location, you use the digit on the photograph of a plaque, referring to the date on this plaque.
If there’s a 2 on the photograph, use the 2nd digit of the year.
An example is the starting coordinate, using the K plaque at the cafe "in den Ouden Vogelstruys". To this plaque belongs the year 1730. Because of the digit “4” at the photograph the value of “K” turns out to be the "0" of the year “1730”.
The photos and letters of the plaques are given in random order. You can choose your quest route yourself, with or without shopping and pub breaks throughout the city-walk!
