Geocache Description:

short distance from road but secure and safe parking at HU427365, very quiet and isolated, easy going, just be wary of cattle grid (no high healed shoes!)

This is our first cache, hope you enjoy it. It is located in an area overlooked by both locals and visitors as they speed off down south to the delights of Sumburgh and Scatness. It is not hard to find nor is it in an isolated position other than being on Shetland. It is situated some 6 miles South of Lerwick and is easily accessible by car, bicycle or by walking. As stated previously it is easliy bypassed by visitors as they go south, but having found the cache ponder and dwell a while in it's tranquil location. Looking east take in the east voe of Quarff and Southern tip of Bressay. Look left to the top of Scrae Field (216m). If time permits, go down to the east voe of Quarff and depending on weather, it can be like a mill pond or raging beast - BEWARE!!
The cache is a plastic tupperware type container with log book, pencil, pebble, shell, stickers and Somerfield card.
