Suomusjärven puukirkko on seurakunnan kolmas kirkko. Se valmistui vuonna 1850 ja se perustuu arkkitehti E. Lohrmanin piirustuksiin. Kirkon arkkitehtuuri on yksinkertaista ja suoraviivaista. Alttaritaulun aiheena on Kristuksen ristiinnaulitseminen ja sen on maalannut hovimaalari R.W.Ekman. Kirkon vieressä on puinen kellotapuli, jonka on rakentanut suomusjärveläinen Jaakko Härkä vuonna 1751. Suomusjärven kotiseutumuseo sijaitsee kirkon vieressä vanhassa viljamakasiinissa. Makasiini on rakennettu kallion päälle kirkon viereen ja se valmistui vuonna 1860. Kunta osti sen seurakunnalta ja purki viljalaarit sekä muutti rakennuksen museoksi. Museoon alettiin kerätä 1800-luvun talonpoikaisesineitä ja se avattiin yleisölle vuonna 1974. Lisäksi museossa on Suomusjärveltä peräisin olevia kivikautisia löytöjä sekä jopa "ikiliikkuja". ---------------------------------------- The wooden church of Suomusjärvi is the third church of the parish. It was completed in 1850 and it is based on the plan of architect E. Lohrman. Church's architecture is simple and straightforward. The subject of the altarpiece is the crucifixion of the Christ and it has been painted by court painter R.W.Ekman. Next to the church is wooden bell-tower built by a Suomusjärvi man Jaakko Härkä in 1751. The museum of Suomusjärvi is located next to the church in an old granary. The granary was built on the rock near the church and it was completed in 1860. The municipality bought it from the parish and the grain bins were taken to pieces and it was turned into the museum. 19th century peasant items were started to collect to the museum and the museum was opened in 1974. In addition there are also stone-age findings from Suomusjärvi and even a "perpetual-motion machine".
