Geocache Description:

Roadside cache alongside the N4 (Schoemanskloof) between Machadodorp and Nelspruit. This alternate route is always our choice when travelling between Nelspruit and Gauteng. It's the same distance, more scenic, and carries far less traffic.

The cache is hidden near "Old Joe", which is a unique stone erected in 1927 to honour the engineer who built the original road. Old Joe gets a new paint job periodically, thanks to a local artist "Ghost".

The cache is a 1 Lt lock-n-lock in a camo canvas bag.
