Loch Cache: Always tough archiving a cache but after 35 finders and 4 resurrections (longest being 3 years and 4 months by Sloth96 and T13) this cache's 14 year history has come to an end.

Thank you to gpsfun for publishing it on 10/21/2005 along with In Plain Sight - 5 Gallon Bucket and MOB Mystery. Those were three of my earliest mystery caches. (bah ha ha) Thanks to Bigrock95 for being FTF and to BlackstoneVal for being the first to find all three.

This is a great park for caches and may even get a new one around the new year. Who knows?

Geocache Description:

This is one of three mystery caches I put out on the same day. There was a $10 gift card for FTF of each of the three caches and a bonus gift for the first person to find all three. (BlackstonVal) To claim the trio of caches you MUST follow the rules for finding each cache. (No cheating!) Good luck!

The above set of coordinates are not the location of the final! However, they are within 1 mile of all stages.



Start at the set of coordinates listed above. You are looking for a ring of some type that is attached near the fence. (Size, color and material as well as placement method of rings may change as you go along.) On the ring will be written the next set of coordinates you will need. Continue this process until you find a ring with “the starting coordinates” written on it. Along the way make sure you write down every north and west coordinate you find written on the rings, you will need them later. Enjoy the walk in the park.

Once you have collected all the different coordinates off of the rings you have found you will have both the north and the west coordinates of the final. Take one of the north coordinates you found referenced on a ring and one of the west coordinates you found referenced on a ring, combine them into a set of coordinates and go find the final. It is that easy.

OK, it is not easy. When you look at all the coordinates you have a lot possible combinations. To reduce the numbers you can throw out the set of coordinates of the farthest north, the farthest south, the farthest west and the farthest east rings. In addition you can throw out any coordinate ending in an even number Finally, remember that all caches need to be hidden on public property. So if a combination would land you in someone’s back yard, don’t go there. After these eliminations you won’t have too many places to search.

Notes:
When I say set of coordinates I mean a north and a west coordinate together.
When I say a coordinate I mean either the north portion or the west portion, not both.
