DO YOU FEEL LUCKY? (Bucks) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Simply Paul: I had planned to reactivate this one, but I'd been told quite a few elements were missing so decided to collect up the remains to recycle them instead. I managed to find all but two elements in the end, but not before I'd picked up quite a few. Ah well, this one never got the number of finds I'd hoped for it, and as caching seems to be tending more towards numbers and less towards the 'grand day out but only one find' format these days, I'm putting it to bed. Thank you very much to everyone who found it and your entertaining logs. There may be another DYFL? cache in the future, but a rather different design.

Geocache Description:

Do you feel lucky? Well do ya, punk? Caching is a mixture of skill and luck. I've done some very tricky caches which needed lots of skill to find them, so I thought I'd make a cache which balances that with the element of chance... This is a cache with a lot of dead ends.

The above co-ords will bring you to a roadside sign (which brings back memories of Scotland for me), with some numbers on the back which you need to make a note of. Let's call them ABB–CDC.

You'll find the first physical element to this cache at N51° 4A.(A-1)B7 / W000° 4(C+D).B7C

It's not your typical micro... From here you'll be called on to toss a coin several times to try to locate a 'colourful' micro inside a 'small cache' sized container. There are seven of these items, but only one will lead you to the final cache. Ultimately, you may have to visit as many as 16 locations, or as few as six, to get to the end. There's parking fairly close to most locations, and clear footpath or road access. The actual hides and locations are a mixture of the good, the bad and the ugly. Variety is the spice of caching! Please don't give any location spoilers away in your logs.

As a bonus to anyone finding all 7 'colourful' micros, if you can email (via my profile, link above) me all 7 colours, names and the numbers written in their lids, AS WELL AS FINDING THE FINAL CACHE, you're welcome to log your find AND a second 'bonus find' for all your extra hard work and/or bad luck! I hope that makes sense.

At the final location my co-ords were a bit woolly. If you find something with legs, you're in the right area. You'll find something useful at head height and the main cache box is hidden close by. Please return every element of this cache where and how you found it. Thanks.

To complete this cache you will (or may) need the following items:
VITAL! A pen/cil and paper
VITAL! A CD player (in-car or personal)
A coin, for tossing
Transport. A car or motorbike would be best, but this cache can be done by bicycle or on foot (if you're stupid/brave)
Time (The cache may take anything from an hour to ten or more to complete)
