Geocache Description:

Some of the best trails in Clearwater Scout Reservation are open to the public, and this cache lies on a wonderfully remote and lonely ridge.

The original Jonboy description:
The winds really to seem to give voice up here, and it adds a haunting atmosphere. The cache can be approached from Canopus Lake or Sunken Mine Road, but none of the routes in are short, this is after all part of the charm of this location. It lies just off the white Brushy Ridge Trail, on a narrow, grassy part of the ridge, with a fine view south. The cache is a brown plastic container that may look familiar to some of you.

Additional comments from Bacmac:
We highly recommend the hike along Bushy ridge to this cache. When we found the cache years ago, we, like others, bushwhacked up from the Roaring Brook trail. That is doable, but you miss out on a truly spectacular hike along the ridge.

We've added a link to the Clarence Fahnestock trail map. Bac is very fond of the following route: Three Lakes Trail (blue) from route 301 to the Clear Lake trail (green) to the Bushy Ridge trail (on the map indicated CL for Clear Lake but marked in white). Since the Bushy Ridge trail makes a loop you can go either way. Note that the Green trail changes to blue markers when you reach the Scout camp.
