[FIN] Kätkö sijaitsee Varkausmäen ulkoilualueella ja lähtöpaikan koordinaatit vievät kätköilijän Nälkäänkuolleiden hautamuistomerkille. Muistomerkki on pystytetty 1860-luvulla nälkävuotena kuolleiden vainajien muistoksi.
Varsinaisen kätkön koordinaatit ovat
N62 18.mmm
E027 56.nnn
Muistomerkin tekstissä mainitaan ko. nälkävuoden vuosiluku.
s = vuosiluvun numeroiden summa
z = muistomerkin tekstissä olevien 'W'- kirjainten lukumäärä
Muistomerkissä mainitaan pitäjien lukumäärä 'xy'.
Tarvitset ratkaisuun myös lähtöpaikan koordinaatteja. Luvut aaa ja bbb saat lähtöpaikan koordinaateista seuraavasti: 'N62 18.aaa' ja 'E027 55.bbb'
mmm = aaa + s + z
nnn = bbb - 'x0y'.
Varsinainen kätkö on mukavan ja kohtuullisen kävelymatkan päässä Varkausmäen alueella. Eikä janokaan pääse yllättämään.
Kätkö ei ole kovin helposti (jos ollenkaan) löydettävissä lumiseen aikaan.
[ENG] The cache is located on Varkausmäki out-of-doors recration area and the starting point coordinates will take you to the memorial for the persons who died of starvation on 1860s.
The final coordinates of the cache are

The exact year of the starvation is mentioned in the text of the monument stone.
s = the sum of the numbers of that year.
z = number of 'W' - letters in the monument text.
In the text the number of communities where the starved persons came from is mentioned: 'xy'
You need also the starting point's coordinates to solve the final coordinates.
The starting point is 'N62 18.aaa' and 'E027 55.bbb'

nnn = bbb - 'x0y'
There is a quite nice walk to the final cache. It is not a problem, if you get thirsty. On winter time the cache might be difficult or even impossible to find.
