About the location... Peat Lake is a small lake/swamp located on a Ranch. The name "Peat Lake" comes from the fact that lake is on a Peat Bog.
Their was a old house & windmill by the lake years ago, but all signs of the house have been gone since the late 1950's. Only signs of the fallen windmill remain.
The lake/swamp has many different animals & plants living in and around it, eg. Frogs, Ducks, Geese and sometimes Turtles. The numerous Bull Rushes (some people call them lake reeds), act as filters - essentially helping to clean the lake.
