Geocache Description:

Part of a series of six caches that will enable you to find Herne2’s Big Thing. They can be done in any order but you will need all of them to find the location of the final cache. They are scattered over Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. Each cache is hidden in an area that I consider to be either very beautiful or having a particular significance to me.
This cache is reached on public rights of way over reasonably easy terrain.

Please stay on the paths, there is no need to stray onto private land. I would also be grateful if you could be a little quiet and discreet when you walk down to this cache. This place is very special to me. My Mum lives there! It will all become clear.

This will not be easy! I’ve given it such a high difficulty rating because of the size of the cache. You are looking for a nano-cache. It measures 10mm in diameter and is 13mm in length. It is a screw canister made of metal, painted matt black and it is magnetic. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE CACHE. If it is dislodged or dropped it will be nigh on impossible to find again!

Inside the canister you will find a tiny piece of plastic with a letter on one side and a number on the other. Write down both the letter and the number. You will need them if you are going to find Herne2’s Big Thing. To claim this cache as a “Found it” you must email me with the letter and the number.

GOOD LUCK! You’re going to need it.
