GeoGroucho: Final notice: Das Hotel EDNY schließt seine Pforten. Leider ist der Aufwand das Hotel zu warten aus diversen Gründen nicht vernünftig aufzubringen. Daher muss ich von einer Wiedereröffnung leider absehen, was mir nicht leicht fällt.

Der Cache hat mir insgesamt viel Freude bereitet und es hat viel Spaß gemacht, den Gästen beim Ein- und Auschecken zuzusehen. Danke an alle, die sich hier beteiligt haben und den vielen Verkehr erzeugt haben.

Ich würde mich freuen, wenn es irgendwann einen Nachfolger in der Nähe gäbe.

Willkommen, Travelbugs, im Hotel EDNY, Eurer First Class Unterkunft auf dem Weg in die Welt. Gelegen in direkter Nähe des Flughafen Friedrichshafen (EDNY) und ausgestattet mit allem Komfort den ein Travelbug unterwegs so braucht. Das trockene Plätzchen kann von freundlichen Geocachern sogar mit dem Auto angefahren werden und ist verkehrstechnisch perfekt angebunden am ultimativen Drehkreuz in die Schweiz, Österreich und die Welt. Einfache Anreise garantiert, das Hotel liegt 500m vom Terminal entfernt, Parkplatz vor der Haustür. Das Hotel ist kinderfreundlich, was bedeutet: Die Mitnahme von Kindern hat eindeutige Vorteile (*Hint*)

Hinweis: Es ist nicht nötig in Nähe der Bahnschienen zu suchen, auch der Flughafen ist tabu.
Aus Sicherheitsgründen liegt das Hotel einige Meter vom
Flughafenareal entfernt. Dies ist ausschliesslich ein TB-Hotel, bitte kein Trading. Die Funkabdeckung direkt um den Cache herum ist miserabel, somit sind die Koordinaten nicht sehr genau.

Welcome travel bugs at Hotel EDNY, your first class accomodation on your way into the world. Lying in
direct proximity to the airport of Friedrichshafen (EDNY) it is equipped with every comfort a travel bug can expect. The dry place can be reached by car benefitting from friendly geocachers and is perfectly connected to Switzerland, Austria and the world.
Easy arrival and check-in is guaranteed, the hotel is located about 500 metres from the airport terminal, a parking facility is directly at the front door.
The hotel is children friendly which means bringing
children with you has advantages (*hint*)
Note: It is absolutely unnecessary to go near the railway tracks and also the airport area is a no-go.
For security reasons the hotel is located some dozen
metres from the airport area.

This is a travel bug hotel only, no trading please.
The area directly around the cache is not very GPS
friendly so coordinates are not very accurate.
