The cache is located near the road to the La Luz Trail head. It is at least 300 vertical feet and .5 miles to the cache.
Although this is a small cache, the cache is a log only cache. There is little room for trade items. Bring your own fine point writing instrument. Please assure that the log remains protected from water, and that the cache is replaced so that it’s nature cannot be seen. Be patient before parking, or you may start from the wrong point. Park at N 35 13.002, W 106 29.245. There is trail all the way to the cache, although the second link is faint. If you are on the right trail, again be patient. The turn off the main trail is after about a tenth of a mile. The distance to the cache from the start is about a half mile and 350 feet of vertical if you pick the right spot to park, otherwise you may suffer Yorick’s fate. Enjoy the view, you earned it. Yorick does not even seem to want to look. Be careful with the scree coming back down.
