A family friendly hike and cache in the Vista Road Property.
Welcome to possibly one of the most unimaginatively named pieces of open space in Wilton, the Vista Road Property. This peaceful, hidden, town-owned land borders Vista Road, but there is slightly better parking on Bald Hill Road to the north. Park on the shoulder at the 25 MPH Speed Limit sign at N41 13.510, W073 28.952. Note that the signed entrance to this Property is an access trail that runs between two private residences. Please be respectful of this as you park and walk into the preserve. The trail is blazed white on the trees so just keep an eye out for them so you don't wander into someone's backyard.
Once past the residences, enjoy the Property, which consists mainly of a loop trail. Right or left? Hmmm...
Cache is standard ammo can with FTF CT instant win lottery tickets (good luck!), kids books and toys, an Appalachian Trail Conference hat, a rain poncho and log book. Enjoy!
