Esta cache pretende levar o visitante a descobrir Pitões das Júnias, uma bonita e tranquila localidade remota num planalto lindo e a uma altitude considerável!
Em Pitões das Júnias deverá seguir as setas que indicam Mosteiro e Cascata.
Poderá estacionar o carro junto às placas que indicam Mosteiro a 300m e Cascata a 900m.
A partir daí o caminho é todo sinalizado até à cascata. O caminho faz-se bem e só nos últimos metros tem algumas descidas mais acentuadas, mas sempre em bom terreno.
Vale bem a pena a caminhada! No fim do caminho encontrará uma cascata linda! Aproveite também para visitar o mosteiro à vinda para o carro!

E: This cache takes you to a remote location named "Pitões das Júnias". A very high and beatifull place. Drive to the town and follow the signs that state "Mosteiro" (Monastery)and "Cascata" (Waterfall). You can leave your car where the signs say Mosteiro 300m and Cascata 900m. From there the trail is always sinalized. The terrain is good and only in the last meters it gets steeper but always is good terrain. The hike is worth it and in the end you will discover a magnificent waterfall! Don´t forget to visit the monastery also on your way back to the car!
