This cache is located in the Otis Sanctuary. Partial trail
closure from 10-31 thru 11-30. Access only from Hull Rd. The
walking path in the sanctuary is very well maintained. No dogs are
allowed in the sanctuary. It's a good idea to wear hunter orange
from September 14 - March 31. Hunter orange is required November
15-30. Although rare, this area is rattlesnake habitat, so be aware
of your surroundings. Recommended parking: N42° 36.056 W085°
23.448.
This cache has a book theme. It is started off full of
Bookcrossing-labeled books in a range of genres. Find more
information about Bookcrossing at www.bookcrossing.com. Please
bring a book, or a book related item, to trade. The container
is a large ammo box and is starting off full. There is a brand new
copy of Thoreau's "Walden" and "Civil Disobedience" meant as a
first-to-find prize. Please take the time to read the information
posted at the trail head. When you find the cache, you are nearly
half-way around the trail. Trust me, continue in the direction you
were going to see the entire, beautiful sanctuary! You can find
more about the sanctuary at its website:
