Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Visit Baytown Texas GeoTour, where Family, History, and Nature Come Together! This cache is part of a series designed to take you on a tour of Baytown. Click here to download the Official GeoTour passport or stop by the tourism kiosk inside Buc-ee’s - Baytown, N 29° 48.050 W 094° 60.000, to pick one up! Accrue 28+ points & receive a Texas trackable geocoin!



 

Short puzzle cache in an interesting historical park (daylight hours only). Small cache container with log and a room for a few trinkets. Yes, this is an older cache (published in 2005) that has been included on the GeoTour, so you veteran cachers may have already done it.

*All coordinates will have the same value for degrees and minutes.

At the listed coordinates, a founding father of the Republic and State of Texas is depicted. Information on his life will be used to determine the coordinates of the final cache.
A = (number of acres in his plantation) - 700.
B = (last three digits of the year he served The Republic of Texas as Secretary of State) + 51
