B.S.P.S. #1 Providence Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Shotgun & Peashooter: Finally got enough time to go check on a few of our caches. Now this one really gets my goat. The original container is now gone, and has been replaced with a letterbox cache, and get this, in the exact spot our cache used to be. Went to Letterboxing.org and sure as heck The Muddlers have placed this container in our spot. Now I am not accusing anyone of anything, but come on now, this is just not right. Where did our container go? And just how did it end up being a letterbox? Anyway, I have had enough and this cache is now officially closed, no more logs will be accepted. If you want to log this, then I suggest you go to the above mentioned area and do it through that avenue.

Geocache Description:

Bend's Small Parks Series #1 - Providence

Shotgun & Peashooter's Bend Small Park Series, a series of caches located in and around the city of Bend in small urban "pocket" parks. These parks are small and off the beaten path. Most are only known by the local residents living around each of these development areas. Please bring a writing utensil as the cache container only contains a log sheet.

Providence Park is a quintessential neighborhood park located in northeast Bend off of Neff Road. Funding for the construction of this park was included in the serial levy passed by District voters in 1995. The park features ample turf, a playground, jogging trail, half court basketball court and limited off street parking.
