This is one of our favorite parts of the Sandias. There are several access points off NM 536 from Capulin Picnic Area up to the 10K trailhead.
Cache is a 1 liter Nalgene water bottle. Contains a small logbook, some kid stuff, a really cool waterproof matchbox/compass/whistle/signal mirror gizmo and a wine charm.
