Geocache Description:

This cache is located in The Chappie-Shasta OHV Area. This is best accessed by off-road motorcyle, ATV, or SWB 4WD with low-range. With this equipment, this cache is practically a drive-up!

Best access is from The Copley Mountain OHV Staging Area off Iron Mountain Road. Follow Route 4, which is signed, to the cache. There is a pull-out near the cache location, do not park on the trail. This route can be accessed by hiking, bicycle, ATV, and SWB 4WD vehicles with low-range. This route is steep, slippery, rocky, and is narrow at times. The use of this area is free.

The cache is in a military ammo can and contains: log book, writing instruments, FTF prizes, and various quality trade items.

The cache is located in an area with scenic views of the surrounding areas. Enjoy your visit.

This is a playground for motorized vehicles. Use headlights even during daylight. If you are travelling under human power, do not stop on the trail for any reason. Take your rest break just off the trail.

(I DON'T think that this trail should be categorized as a "Most Difficult", at least under ideal conditions. But I like the name! This trail should be driveable by most compact 4 WD vehicles with good tires, and no front air dams on bumpers or running boards. It is about 4 miles one-way from the staging area to the cache.)
