The cache is hidden between some impressive remains of what is called the "Siegfriedlinie". This is a block line for tanks.
The concrete blocks you see here are called "Höckersperre" or "Drachenzähne" (= dragon’s teeth). It should give you an idea of how much material, manpower and money must be spent in the stupid war machine.
Go to the coordinates given above and find the block you see on the picture and which is indicated with a 1. Start walking with a bearing of about 155 degrees and count 42 of "them". There you'll find an seven armed tree (see spoilerpicture) in which the cache is hidden.
