Geocache Description:

This is a multi stage that won’t take too long once you crack the babble. All stages are in Charlestown and none are on National Parks property. When parking in Charlestown, be aware of resident only signs. Street parking is restricted from 8am-8pm. Some, like Medford St, allow 2 hour parking and that should be more than enough time. Now on to the cache…

I was strolling along the cobblestone streets of Charlestown one sweltering August day. I was on my way to check on a stash of cool swag I had recently concealed near the Bunker Hill memorial. When a curiously odd man ran up to me and babbled...

Dah  Didididit  Dit  Dahdah  Didah  Dahdahdit  Dahdit  Dit  Dah  Dah  Didididit  Didah  Dah  Didit didit  Dit dit  Dididah  Dahdit  Dit  Dit  Dahdidit  Dah  Dit dit  Dididit  Dit  Dit  Dahdidah  Didahdah  Didit  Daaah  Daaah  Dahdahdit  Didit  Didididah  Dit  Didit didit  Dit dit  Dididah  Dah  Didididit  Dit  Daaah  Dit dit  Didit dit  Didah  Dah  Didit  Dit dit  Dahdit  Dit dit  Didahdit  Dah  Didididit  Dit  Didahdit  Didit  Dahdit  Didah  Daaah  Didah  Dahdit  Dahdidit  Didit  Dah  Didit dit  Didah  Dahdit  Dahdididit  Dit  Didahdit  Dit dit  Dididah  Dahdit  Dahdidit  Didah  Dah  Didah  Dididididit  Didah  Dit didit  Dahdidah  Dit dit  Dahdit  Dahdididit  Dididah  Dahdit  Dahdidah  Dit  Dit didit  Didididit  Didit  Daaah  Daaah  Dididit  Dah.

I was in shock and before I realized it, he had disappeared up the hill. I ran to where I had stealthed away the stash but a few lunar cycles before. Where my treasure had been hidden not a stone looked out of place, but alas it was gone. I thought about the ciphered message the man had babbled, but I could not crack what he had uttered verbally.

I thought all was hopeless and my cache would forever lay hidden on the hill misplaced. I landed on the steps of a church when the same remarkably odd man dashed by me again and into the church. I went to follow him in when the pastor of the church barricaded my way and told me to leave his son alone.

I told the pastor of my missing cache and how I knew that man possessed the key to where it had been moved. The pastor said he knew what his son had done, but it was the code of Charlestown not to rat out a townie. After a protracted and impassioned discourse, the pastor went into the old church to speak to his son. When he reemerged he relayed this message...

Dah Didididit Dit Didahdit Didit Dit didit Dididit Dah Dididit Dah Didah Dahdahdit Dit Didit Dididit Dahdit Dit dit Dah Didahdit Didah Dit didit Didahdit Dit didit Dit dit Dahdah Didididit Dit Dit didit Dit. Daaah Dit dit Didit dit Didah Dah Dit Dididit Dah Dahdah Didah Dit didit Dah Didit Dahdit Didit dit Dit dit Dit didit Dahdit Dit Dit didit Didah Dahdit Dahdidit Dit Didahdidit Dididididit Daaah Dit dit Dit didit Dit Dah Didididit Dit Dahdididit Daaah Didah Didit dit Dahdidah Dit dit Didahdit Dah Didididit Dit Didahdit Dit Dahdit Didit dit Dit. Didahdah Didididit Didah Dah Didididit Didah Dah Didididit Dahdahdit Dit dit Dahdidit Didahdah Dit didit Dit dit Dididah Dahdahdit Didididit Dah!

I demanded that the pastor tell me where the cache was before it became an International incident. He assured me that the answer was in the babble and that this was decidedly an American issue only. With that I made my way to where I had been told to go and uncovered my treasure not far from where I had originally hid it.

REMEMBER, it is not on National Parks property. The above listed coordinates are for the Bunker Hill Monument. There are a lot of interesting plaques to read and the monument is always worth a climb, but those are not the coordinates for any stage of this cache.

This is an urban cache in a public area, use caution as always when accessing the cache. If you chose to do it at night, be aware of the neighbors. If you enjoyed this puzzle, let me know. If you have questions or comments about this puzzle, email me. Go forth and enjoy the hunt to find the cache.

Change to cache instructions for logging this cache
Once you decipher the babble follow those instructions to get you to the first stage. Do not look for the magnet, instead find the stone corner of the fence and project a waypoint from that spot. Project 412 feet at 41.2 degrees true. There you will find many spots to hide a small cache. Becareful as you hunt.
